- 24 grape tomatoes
- 24 mini mozza cheese balls
- fresh basil rinsed and trimmed to bite size pieces
- salt and pepper optional, to taste
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
Bring balsamic vinegar just to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer for about 10 minutes until reduced slightly. Set aside and cool.
Cut each tomato in half. Skewer in the following order:tomato halfbasilmozza ballbasil tomato half Serve with balsamic as a dip, or drizzle skewers with balsamic.
Optional: Omit the balsamic and serve with just a dusting of salt and pepper.
